What call center data is valuable to AI buyers?
- QA scorecards and coaching notes
- How good and bad calls are judged, owned by the center.
- Call scripts and knowledge-base articles the center wrote
- Process content.
- Transcripts, only where the client and the law allow
- Real dialogues, the most sensitive asset.
- Workforce management and internal chat
- Operational coordination.
Typical tools: Five9, Genesys, NICE CXone, Talkdesk, Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud.
What are the risks specific to call centers and bpos?
Recording consent
Florida requires all parties' consent to record (Fla. Stat. 934.03). A recording consented to for "quality and training" is not obviously consent to license it to a third party for AI training.
Payment card data
Recordings and transcripts can contain card numbers. PCI DSS applies; such data never leaves.
Voiceprints
Illinois BIPA and similar laws treat voiceprints as biometric identifiers with consent requirements and private lawsuits.
Client ownership
In a BPO, customer interactions usually belong to the client brand.
What should never leave?
- Audio recordings
- Card data and account numbers
- Health information from healthcare clients
- Client-owned interaction data without client consent
We do not handle health information under any circumstances. See Is it safe?
Qualification checklist
- Client contracts allow the use, in writing
- Transcripts are redacted for card and account numbers
- No audio leaves
- Healthcare clients excluded

Questions
Can a call center license call transcripts to AI?
Only with the client brand's written permission, a lawful basis under recording-consent laws, and redaction of payment and health data. The center's own QA and process content is a safer start.
